General Information about the Personal Data Protection Law

The Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereafter referred to as KVKK) was adopted on March 24, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 dated April 7, 2016. Some provisions of the KVKK came into effect on the publication date, while others came into effect on October 7, 2016.

Information as Data Controller

In accordance with Law No. 6698 KVKK and as a Data Controller, your personal data will be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed/transferred to third parties when permitted by legislation, classified, and processed in the manners listed in this document.

Methods of Processing Personal Data

According to the KVKK No. 6698, the personal data shared with our company can be processed fully or partially, automatically or non-automatically, obtained by being a part of any data recording system, recorded, stored, changed, reorganized, or processed in any other ways defined by the KVKK. Any operation performed on data is considered as "processing of personal data" under the scope of KVKK.

Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data

The personal data you share with us will be processed in accordance with the KVKK for the following purposes:

- To fulfill the requirements of services provided to our customers, to carry out contracts and technological necessities, and to improve the offered products and services.
- To record identity, address, and other necessary information to identify the data subject in accordance with Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, and related regulations.
- To fulfill obligations related to payment systems, electronic contracts, or paper-based transactions in the banking and electronic payment sector, and to comply with legal requirements and information storage, reporting, and disclosure obligations imposed by authorities.
- To provide information to prosecutors, courts, and relevant public officials in matters concerning public security and legal disputes upon request and in accordance with the legislation.

Third Parties to Whom Personal Data May be Transferred

For the purposes mentioned above, your personal data may be transferred to third parties, including but not limited to TICIMAX BILISIM TEKNOLOJILERI A.S., suppliers, courier companies, program partner organizations, domestic/foreign organizations, and other third parties.

Methods of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data can be collected through various channels, including our website and mobile applications, forms, sales and marketing departments, branches, suppliers, paper-based forms, business cards, digital marketing, call centers, and social media platforms, as well as publicly available databases.

Retention and Protection of Personal Data

Your personal data will be kept confidentially in our databases and systems in accordance with Article 12 of KVKK. Except for legal requirements and the provisions specified in this document, your data will not be shared with third parties. Our company is responsible for taking software measures and physical security precautions, preventing the unlawful processing of personal data, and restricting unauthorized access to personal data.

Rights of Data Subjects

As of October 7, 2016, the rights of the data subjects under Article 11 of KVKK are as follows:

1. To learn whether their personal data is processed,
2. To request information regarding the processing if their personal data has been processed,
3. To learn the purpose of the processing and whether data is used in compliance with the purpose,
4. To know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom personal data is transferred,
5. To request correction of their personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurately processed,
6. To request deletion or destruction of their personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of KVKK,
7. To request notification of the operations carried out as per indents (e) and (f) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
8. To object to any result against them due to the analysis of their personal data exclusively through automated systems,
9. To demand compensation for damages in case they incur damages due to the unlawful processing of their personal data.
